Cyber Culture Strategist
30 years in IT and 15 in Cybersecurity, LinkedIn Top Voice in Cybersecurity
Remote and hybrid work increase flexibility and productivity, but also widen the attack surface. Sign-ins and files now move between homes, offices, and public networks, making one careless tap a potential breach. Drawing on real incidents like the August 2025 Google and Salesforce breaches, Alvin Rodrigues reveals how small oversights escalate into major risks. Through interactive exercises, real-life analogies, and micro-action frameworks, participants will learn to recognise red flags, act fast, and embed protective habits. This session is critical as organisations rely on distributed teams and must cultivate everyday vigilance to maintain compliance, protect data, and ensure business continuity.
Corporate teams operating in hybrid or remote environments seeking stronger cybersecurity culture. Business leaders and managers who want practical, engaging training to reduce human-related cyber risks.
Security is everyone’s job: Attendees will shift from viewing cybersecurity as an IT issue to recognising their personal role in preventing breaches. Confidence replaces uncertainty: They will feel empowered to act immediately on suspicious activity and trust their ability to keep data safe. Daily micro-habits adopted: They will establish practical habits like using unique passwords, secure networks, and timely reporting to reduce risk.

Alvin is a very good speaker who can explain complex technical terms in a way that is easy to understand. He keeps the audience engaged, so the topic of cybersecurity never feels boring, and he gives a clear picture of the key points. One small feedback is that it would be even better if he could speak a little slower, as at the end, due to time limits, he had to talk very fast and couldn’t go into full detail. But this did not affect the overall value of the session. I would still highly recommend him to any organization planning a talk on this important topic.
