Inclusion That Works: Beyond the Buzzwords

    Health and Well-being

    Synopsis

In today’s workplace, too many employees feel excluded, leading to disengagement, high turnover, and lower performance. Research shows 75% of workers report exclusion, and in Asia-Pacific, retention and talent shortages are among the biggest corporate challenges. Inclusion efforts often stop at surface-level activities, failing to address deeper cultural change. In this keynote, Cheuk Ho Yin shares his FAB framework—Find common ground, Add value from difference, Build habits of respect—to empower leaders to create environments where inclusion truly works. Participants will leave with tools to strengthen belonging, unlock collaboration, and build resilient organizations ready for the demands of a changing workforce.

    Target Audience

    HR Professionals and Talent Leaders

    Key Benefits

Empower leaders and HR professionals to move beyond surface-level diversity initiatives by fostering genuine inclusion that drives engagement, retention, and performance. This keynote equips participants with actionable strategies to transform exclusion into connection and build workplaces where every voice is valued.

    Outline

    1. Find Common Ground – Reframing Differences into Shared Human Connection Exclusion often arises from fear of the unfamiliar. Using homophily, we gravitate to sameness, but true inclusion begins when leaders deliberately search for shared traits with those who seem different. Learn how to bridge divides, dismantle biases, and establish trust by highlighting commonalities first, creating an immediate sense of belonging. 2. Add Value from Difference – Turning Diversity into a Strategic Advantage Instead of seeing diversity as a problem to manage, leaders can treat it as an asset. Learn how to reframe differences as complementary strengths that elevate innovation, problem-solving, and culture. By practicing this mindset shift, teams move from compliance to collaboration, where diversity becomes a source of growth. 3. Build Habits of Respect – Sustaining Inclusion Beyond Events and Training True inclusion does not happen from one workshop or team-building exercise—it requires habits. Discover practical ways to weave respect into daily practices: in meetings, decision-making, and recognition. Leaders will learn how to reinforce inclusion consistently, ensuring that respect becomes the cultural default, not a checkbox initiative.
